Dr. John Wilson is the Director of Bereavement Services at York St John Communities Centre, York St John University, with over 25 years’ experience as a bereavement counsellor. An internationally recognised expert, he conducts talks and training worldwide while actively researching grief and bereavement processes. He has authored two influential books: Supporting People Through Loss and Grief: An Introduction for Counsellors and Other Caring Practitioners and The Plain Guide to Grief which provides practical guidance to bereaved people for managing their grief after a significant loss.
