Sandy Clarke
Sandy is a licenced professional counsellor (LKM; ACA; MBACP), trained primarily in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy. He is currently a counsellor who specialises in grief and bereavement, logging more than 2000 client hours to date, and has also received training in Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focused Therapy (Level 1), and Couples Therapy (Gottman Institute, Level 2).
Sandy has presented several talks and workshops on topics related to his main areas of interest including mindfulness, self-compassion, and grief, and he has featured regularly on BFM radio to discuss these and other related topics.
He also writes the fortnightly ‘Sunny Side Up’ column for The Star newspaper and is the author of ‘Mindfulness and Emotions’ and ‘The Tyranny of Speed.’
