Grace Hu
Master'ss in Clinical PsychologyGrace has completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at HELP University, Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) Degree from HELP University, Malaysia. She has worked with children with special needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder as an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapist, conducting individual therapy sessions, facilitating group sessions and working as a shadow aid to support children at school. She has also worked with supporting adults with special needs in teaching them living skills and social skills. Grace has also volunteered in various community and outreach missions as well as in a detention centre in Sydney, Australia, and believes that mental health services should be made available to all who need it.

Owen Choo
Master of Clinical PsychologyOwen is a clinical psychologist at Relate Malaysia. He has previously worked as an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapist, supporting neurodivergent children in their developmental journey. His life experiences taught him to appreciate the diversity of human experiences and the need for accessible mental health care for all. He believes that while suffering in life is inevitable, with empathy, compassion and empowerment, one can live a life full of vigor and vitality. He mainly uses cognitive-behavioral approaches (e.g. cognitive-behavioral therapy & acceptance and commitment therapy) to help clients better relate with their thoughts, emotions, other people, and the world around them. During his free time, Owen enjoys a good run and heart-thumping psychological thriller film.

Aw Yong Yue Yun
Master of Clinical PsychologyYue Yun (YY) completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at HELP University Malaysia. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology (Honours) from Monash University Malaysia. Since graduation, she has worked with vulnerable adults and children from the local B40 communities, where she helped organize and participated in community mental health and youth prevention programs. She also has experience providing therapy for mental health disorders such as anxiety, stress and depression, as well as individuals struggling with interpersonal difficulties, family conflicts, and personal growth. She believes in supporting her clients throughout their journey towards mental health, and aims to provide accessible and trauma-informed mental healthcare for all communities.

Najlaa Fayyadhah
Master of Clinical PsychologyMy name is Najlaa, and I have a Master of Human Sciences in Psychology (Clinical and Counseling) from IIUM, where I also completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. My goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist who can provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people from all walks of life and support them in their mental health journey while honoring each person’s unique background and needs. I’m passionate about helping others work through their challenges and supporting them with empathy, respect, and evidence-based care.

Chooi Jia Wen
Master of Clinical PsychologyI'm Jia Wen and I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from HELP University, where I also earned my Psychology degree. Following my undergraduate studies, I ventured into the field as an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapist, specializing in one-on-one behavioural therapy for neurodivergent children. My passion for mental health blossomed during my undergraduate years, enriched by coursework such as therapy approaches and practical experiences with a mental health NGO. Motivated by a genuine commitment to supporting those navigating mental health challenges, I've chosen to specialize in clinical psychology. Recognizing the courage it takes to seek help, I aspire to be a compassionate companion on individuals' journeys toward well-being.

Sarah Zehan
Master of Clinical PsychologyAfter receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Monash University, Australia, Sarah earned two years experience as an Assistant Psychologist, working under a prominent psychiatrist in Kuala Lumpur. Nourishing her childhood passion for people and psychology, she then continued to complete her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at HELP University. Her work and training experience includes helping adults and adolescents with mood disorders and relationship issues, as well as children with learning difficulties.
Sarah believes that each difficulty one faces in life provides an opportunity for greater self-awareness and development. To quote Rumi, “the wound is the place where the light enters you.”
When she’s not busy changing the world, Sarah can be found dancing along supermarket aisles with Barrie and Ali. Sarah also spends time in her lab (okay, kitchen), mixing concoctions, from sweet treats to homemade skin care products.

Gladys Tan
Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Counselling Psychology)Gladys completed her her Masters in Counseling Psychology at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology (Honours) at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Since graduation, she has worked with vulnerable adults and children who are in need of protection from violence and abuse. She also deals with cases involving youths who display at-risk behaviours and conducts evaluation work in custody dispute matters. She believes every individual has strengths and potential to effect changes in their lives, and advocates the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and collaborative work approaches with clients

Karen Er
Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Counselling Psychology)Karen graduated with a Master of Arts (Counseling Psychology) from the National Institute of Education, Singapore, and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) Degree from the National University of Singapore. Having a strong interest in childhood trauma, she currently works with children exposed to traumatic life events and supports them in their recovery process. She also works with adults on parent-child relationships as well as a range of psychological issues such as adjustment difficulties, anger management, substance abuse, or grief and loss concerns. Karen believes that psychotherapy provides a platform for anyone in improving their mental health and allowing for self-growth. As a therapist, she aims to take on a person-centered approach in supporting clients and hopes to effect change through the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
